Carson City Services
Carson City is the capitol of Nevada, and not part of any county. You'll want to visit this web site when setting up residential water service, but electricity is provided by NV Energy, as it is in most of Nevada, with the exception of Henderson & North Las Vegas.

People who live in Vegas and other Silver State cities are regular folks, like the kind you might meet or that you grew up with anywhere in the country. That's because most come from those other places. Locals take their kids to school, shop at Walmart, work crazy hours for low pay, and work several jobs sometimes, just to make ends meet. We go to the park, the mall, the mountains, the canyons, but rarely hit the strip, except for work and when family & friends come to town. BTW, you'll see more of your friends & family members while living here than you did most anywhere else you lived. Get used to visiting the airport. A lot.
